Apologies for not writing sooner. We've been back in Sydney now for almost a month but our holiday in Vietnam seems ages ago now.
We would like thank you for all you help in organising our itinerary on our recent trip to Vietnam . The hotels were excellent with very comfortable accommodation and great service. Breakfasts were excellent although we thought the Hilton in Hanoi had the best croissants!
We had a good balance of organised tours and free time and we particularly enjoyed the cooking class in Hoi An. The tours of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Chu Chi tunnels were fascinating. The trip to Ha Lung Bay was quite long, but the cruise at the end of it was worthwhile.
They tour guides and drivers you organised were punctual and attentive and it was a great relief to meet them when we arrived at the various airports. Their stories and descriptions and the information they provided was very interesting and helped paint a fuller picture of Vietnam for us. They were able to answer most of our questions and through our conversations with them, we were able to learn something about their own lives in Vietnam.
We did have a little difficulty understanding our first guide in Hanoi, but he made up for it with his enthusiasm. The other three guides all had very good English. Please pass on our thanks to each of them.
I have already passed on your details to a friend and would have no hesitation about using you again or recommending your company to others wishing to visit your beautiful country.

Just a quick note to say a BIG BIG thank you!!! We had a FANTASTIC time in Vietnam, definetely will be back. Our guides were excellent, we loved Quang who took us to the Cu Chi tunnels, Trang in Hanoi and Visal in Siem Reap - then a lovely girl who picked us up in Danang airport!!!! We have just returned from our second trip to Vietnam. This trip we only had 5 nights in HCMC and surrounding areas. We took two of our friends with us and again used the excellent services of TNK Travel and their fantastic team. Our tours were wonderful, our days flew by filled with great information, delightful eating experiences, wonderful sights and a truly amazing time was had by each one of us! All your staff are so reliable, helpful, courteous and informative. We always enjoy their company so much and really miss them when we have to part. I visit in the last 2 years alone or with group tours many times Vietnam. Last trip in 2007 I fund for the Mekong delta tour a tour operator in Phnom Penh and partner office in Chau Doc, Vietnam. This tour was very cheap but!!! also very simple in service, accommodations, food and organization! This year in February I had a group of 10 Swiss guests and I was happy to here from TNK travel agency in Saigon. The secretary Luu vo was a great organizer and she send me quickly a package of a tour around the Mekong Delta during 2 weeks. We had our private guide Mr. Ky, a friendly Vietnamese. He had doing for us the best job and he show us beautiful famous places away from the big tourist groups. Two destinations was not so good standard and could be better for next time! We would enjoy in Can Tho one night in homestay leaving but the bungalows was not only very old, there was not clean and during the night we had no water! A similar situation we fund on the island Phu Quoc in the Tropical Resort. One of the nicest place so close to the beach under a lot of palm trees, but the quality of the bungalows was less then medium.
Anyway all of my guests enjoy this Vietnam trip and we can recommend TNK one of the best tour operator in Vietnam.

Hi all I write you just to comment our recent trip to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. On Vietnam´s two legs of the trip, we asked tnk travel to organize for us some smaller trips : Mekong delta 2 days, out to Cambodia, Sapa 2 days, halong bay, and also little things like "we need a Hanoi - Hue train ticket". We combined all of this with our self-made own itinerary, and all worked fine, except halong bay (but for bad weather), and even then, they promtply called us and they looked for alternatives for us. Even saying we normally prefer to travel by ourselves, we found Tnk travel very helpfull and usefull for us Thanks a lot

Transfer to the Dragon's Pearl on arrival and enjoy a welcome drink and a splendid lunch of local seafood. Then begin a 4-hour cruise of the bay to see the amazing limestone karsts with different real-world formations such as: Lion, Tea Pot, Toad, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islets. Take a walk through Sung Sot, the "Amazing Cave". There is ample time for swimming and sunbathing (weather permitting), as the Dragon's Pearl anchors for a night in the Bay. Enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner in the beautiful restaurant before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.
Day 4: Ha Long - Ha Noi - Hue (Brunch) Early risers can enjoy an energizing swim in the cool, calm, quiet of the overnight anchorage. A buffet brunch is served from 07:30 to 09:30. The cruise then continues, passing more interesting formations such as Titot and Soi Sim Beaches, Ngon Tay (Finger) islet, Thien Nga (Swan) islet and Ga Choi (Fighting Cocks) islet on the return to Halong City. Disembark at Halong Tourist Wharf for the return to Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai airport for boarding flight VN 247 to Hue (19:30 - 20:40). Pick up and transfer to your hotel.
Day 5: Hue ( B / L / _ ) Breakfast at the hotel. Take a morning cruise on the Perfume River to visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a setting of gardens and lakes. In the afternoon, visit Dong Ba market, the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between1802 and 1945, and the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City. Enjoy a night boat trip on the Perfume River enlivened by a performance of Hue folk songs. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An ( B / L / _ ) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Hoi An, stop for photos and sightseeing at the Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach, the Marble mountain. In the afternoon, stroll around the town, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, and the Chinese-style temples and pagodas. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City Tour ( B / L / _ ) Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Danang airport for boarding to Ho Chi Minh City on flight No VN 321 ( 8 : 20 - 9 : 30 ). Pick up and transfer to hotel. A sightseeing tour to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame cathedral, the Old Central Post Office. Tour of Chinatown and Thien Hau & Quan Am pagodas. After seeing the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum we end the city tour with Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta ( B / L / _ ) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for My Tho. Take the boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Walking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorised boat. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Ho Chi Minh city
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu chi tunnels ( B / L / _ ) Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Cu Chi to visit the underground tunnels. Transfer to the aiport for deaparture. End of services.
