I have just returned from my first experience in Vietnam. The week that I spent with a large group from Wagga Wagga in Ho Chi Minh City was absolutely fabulous. Our guides Gaing and Bing were incredibly knowledgable about the culture and experiences that we had in HCMC, Cu Chi, Meekong and Long Tan. Thier communication skills and sense of humour was enjoyed by everyone in our group. A huge thanks to TNK and our guides Gaing and Bing! I can't wait to visit again someday!

We enjoyed the Chinese dinner, and the beautiful ancient style restaurants at Hue and Hoi Ann and our only regret is that we have not arranged for more shopping time. I am writing to thank you for organizing our wonderful Mekong Delta tour to Phnom Penh. (Lewis group..Sept 29th/30th/1st Oct.) We very much appreciated our tour guide Mr Pham Van Hai and our driver Duc. Hai's English was very good and we enjoyed all the informative snippets of information he had to share. His knowledge of the areas that we travelled through was extensive and we enjoyed finding out many things about Vietnam We came away with a better understanding of life in Vietnam and life on the Mekong. Hai answered many of our questions and we thoroughly enjoyed his sense of humour. We would all happily recommend Hai as a guide. I wonder if you could let Hai know that we have written to thank him. Hi Winston – a note of thanks for our wonderful trip to Vietnam. Everything went without a hitch – absolutely superb !!! The guides were fantastic as was the country and all the places we went and people we met. The trip covered a variety of sites, activities and experiences so I congratulate you on organizing it for us.
I have only one comment to make and that’s regarding tipping the tour guides. As we don’t tip in Australia , nor do the Vietnamese, but considering the poor wages we had no idea what to tip and we couldn’t tip the guide without the driver. Perhaps giving some guide to future travelers would be of benefit. We overtipped in the beginning but got it figured out by the end after asking Mr Danh & Mr Trang. Also we weren’t sure about tipping the boat drivers considering we were the only ones on the boat eg on Perfume River and Halong Bay.
This is a trivial issue in the big scheme of things so I want to make more the point about the fabulous timing and thought you put into our time there. Again , many thanks.

Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh city - Da Lat ( L ) Depart for Dalat via the National Highway 20. En route, visit Dambri waterfall and lunch in Da Lat. Visit Dalat market and XQ embroidery workshop. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Dalat.
Day 2 : Da Lat ( B / L / _ ) After breakfast, we take you to visit the Valley of Love, Dalat flower park and take an old train trip to Trai Mat for sightseeing. After lunch you'll be visiting Truc Lam pagoda, Bao Dai King’s Holiday Palace. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Dalat.
Day 3 : Da Lat - Lak Lake ( B/L/D ) After breakfast, we leaving Dalat to visit Lak lake. After lunch we visit Jun and Le villages of M’nong ethnic minority, taking a dugout canoe trip on Lak lake. Enjoy the Gongong music perfomance, Can wine around the fire with hilribe people. We have dinner and overnight stay in the long house in Lak Lake.
Day 4 : Lak Lake - Pleiku ( B / L / _ ) After breakfast, we transfer to Pleiku. En route, we stop over at Banmethuat city for coffee and see coffee and rubber plantations. Lunch in Banmethuat. Take an elephant ride at Phu Cuong waterfall. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Pleiku.
Day 5 : Pleiku - Kontum - Pleiku ( B / L / _) After breakfast, we visit Pleiphun village of Jarai ethnic minority and continue to Kontum for lunch and visit Wooden Church, Kontum seminary and Konklor suspension bridge. Driving to Kondong to visit Dektu village of the Bahnar ethnic minority with the folk music and dancing show. Dinner on guests account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Dalat.
Day 6 : Pleiku - Ho Chi Minh city ( or Da Nang - Hoi An ) After breakfast, we visit Minh Thanh pagoda, Bien Ho lake, Gialai Museum of Ethnology and shopping at Pleiku market. Then transfer to Pleiku airport for the flight to Hochiminh city ( or Danang - Hoi An ). End of services.
