Month of Bliss
The month long individualized tour in Vietnam was amazing. Instead of describing the details which were attended to with perfection, we must commend TNK for every aspect of this trip. Every day was a new and exciting experience. Suggestions that were made by TNK to modify our itinerary were fabulous additions. Trust them. Every connection, every hotel, every boatride, every flight, went off without a single glitch. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We are home now and I expected some kind of a feedback request from you but so far got nothing, and decided to send one anyway.

First of all I wanted to thank you in the name of the whole group for a very successful trip. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. The itinerary was well planned, the guides were knowledgeable and caring, the vans were in good condition and comfortable.

I would like to point out several things that were less than 100% - maybe it will be useful to you in the future:

a- the english accent of some of the guides was very bad and we could hardly understand them. Our best guide was Dara in Phnom Penh, unfortunately he was with us only for one day. Chum in Hanoi and Ky in HCM city were also good, The others were also good and warm and kind and we loved them all, but sometimes we had hard time to understand them, maybe because we are not native english speakers

b- most of the hotels were good. The worst was in Phnom Penh - small and smelly rooms and awful maitenance. The one in Siem Reap had nice rooms, but lots of maitenance problems. The same goes for the hotel in Sapa - they had serious problems with the hot water supply, which was extremely annoying.

c- the itinerary was almost perfect, but I think the time in Siem Reap was too long, 2 days would be quite enough, and it could be nice to spend one more day in Hoi An or Hue.

Feedback on Mekong Delta Tour

My daughter and I joined a tour of the Mekong delta aboard the Le Cochinchine during the early part of June.

We very much enjoyed the trip, the accomodation on board was very good (we appreaciated the air conditioning!)

The food was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was a fantastic expereince which was well organised and executed. I would not hesitate to use your services again.

Con Dao Island - Flight ticket & Hote booking service

Dear Ms Luu Vo!

Now we are back in Sweden since last Monday and here is cold and windy and only 2 degrees, but no snow.

We want to thank you for a fantastic journey in your country and in Cambodia. You and your office have done a very good work. Everything was perfect and the three guides we had both in Vietnam, Phnom Pen and Siam Reap were very professional and pleasent. Vi felt very safe the whole time. Please if you can tell them that. We must not forget the chauffeurs who drive us safety. We hope of course that we can come back to Vietnam some time. We liked Ho Chi Minh very much.

Some feedback will we give, the hotels have been good, besides the hotel in Siam Reap, where the staff were not so serviceminded.

The Con Dao islands will probably be good in a future, when they have cleaned up the beaches and the fishingboats were gone, but the resort and the staff were very nice.

A wonderful trip to Dac Danh Vietnam

Dear Mr Dac Danh

We have recently arrived back home in England following our tour of Vietnam and Cambodia with your company and felt we must write to you to let you know what a fantastic time we had in your beautiful country. We were thoroughly impressed with all our guides and drivers with their knowledge, consideration and professionalism. Everyone we met in Vietnam was extremely friendly and welcoming.

In particular we would like you to pass on our grateful thanks to Mr. Ky in Ho Chi Minh city who was extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful ambassador for your country. We will certainly be recommending his services to any friends of ours who may be visiting in the future.

Please also pass on our good wishes to Cheng in Cambodia and Cam in Hue - both of whom made our visits to their areas extremely enjoyable.

Finally may we also ask you to pay a particular thanks Hoa in Hanoi for making the last few days of our stay so memorable and also amusing. He was a great guide and good company, we hope one day to be able to return to Hanoi and hope that Hoa may be able to be our guide for a trip into Sapa. We shall certainly be recommending him to friends.

Vietnam Group Trip - Thanks Ms Nhy (Kathy)

Having just returned from our trip to Vietnam, we would like to thank TNK Travel and particularly Ms. Nhu who has done such a wonderful job of organizing our group of 10 Aussies on a fantastic trip around this beautiful country.
This is the second trip that Kathy has put together at my request and both times have been fautless. Nothing is too much for Kathy - changing arrangements on the go to suit our particular requirements and always in contact to ensure that we are having a great time.
Fantastic also were all the TNK guides that we had the pleasure to meet and travel with. They are so passionate about their country and so knowledgable as well that we couldn't help but be fasinated by the scenery, the people and the culture. Thanks so much to JJ in Ho Chi Minh City, Quyen in Hanoi and the ever smiling Zoom Zoom in Sapa. We will keep in touch. Thanks again TNK - Your services and people are a credit to Vietnam - Cam o'n!

Hi Winston – a note of thanks for our wonderful trip to Vietnam. Everything went without a hitch – absolutely superb !!! The guides were fantastic as was the country and all the places we went and people we met. The trip covered a variety of sites, activities and experiences so I congratulate you on organizing it for us.

I have only one comment to make and that’s regarding tipping the tour guides. As we don’t tip in Australia , nor do the Vietnamese, but considering the poor wages we had no idea what to tip and we couldn’t tip the guide without the driver. Perhaps giving some guide to future travelers would be of benefit. We overtipped in the beginning but got it figured out by the end after asking Mr Danh & Mr Trang. Also we weren’t sure about tipping the boat drivers considering we were the only ones on the boat eg on Perfume River and Halong Bay.

This is a trivial issue in the big scheme of things so I want to make more the point about the fabulous timing and thought you put into our time there. Again , many thanks.
